What People Say

Adams Market, F and 7th streets NE
“I have a special affection for the place because it’s owned by an older Korean couple. As a half-Korean, I enjoy a lovely dose of nostalgia when I visit them. Yup, Adams Market makes me miss my mom.”

Adam’s Market
700 F St. NE
Kroll appreciated that Adam’s displayed “lesser stuff” on lower shelves. The shop seemed strongest on Côtes du Rhône and Chianti, along with prosecco and “pretty good Champagne for the price.”

Standout bottle: A Charbaut & Fils Brut, $37.99.

Verdict: “Not bad. I could easily come in here and find a bottle.”

I wish I could give them more stars. The Chois are fantastic people and really care about their neighborhood. Like others have said, if something isn’t in the store, just ask one of them to stock it. Additionally, they spend time outside and keep an eye on what’s going on and call police when they see a crime occurring.  Great people, great corner store.”

They really do have EVERYTHING in here. We needed dry spilt peas. Trader Joes didn’t have them, Costco didn’t either, Adams market did! From an extra bottle of champagne on New Years Eve to a plunger when we needed it ASAP this place has it.  Prices are fair and they are always so friendly. They even have an ATM in there.
